A Very Fine French Sevres Biscuit (Bisc) Porcelain Figure of a Recumbent Nude Lady Titled "Le Repos" After a Model by Alfred Boucher (French, 1850-1934) Sensually depicting a young woman sleeping on her back on a Louis XVI style daybed, her arms above her head supported on a bolster, her knees bent and pelvis twisted to form a S-curve, the bed raised on fluted feet. Impressed with a triangular potting mark with the letter "S" and "1911" next to an ovoid impressed "Sevres" stamp and the letter "T". Circa: Paris, 1911. Ref.: A1881
A Fine French 19th Century Polychromed Near Life-Size Cast-Metal Figure of a Standing Geisha, cast after a model by Charles Massé (French, 1855-1913). The standing Japanese beauty wearing a flowing Kimono with both hands raised, holding a palm leaf as a fan, and he head tilted slightly forward, standing on a circular faux-marble base. A Very Fine and Monumental Italian 19th Century Renaissance Revival Style Carved Alabaster Figural Ewer or Urn. The impressive ornately carved alabaster ovoid body centered with an allegorical female mask crowned with grape vines and leaves, the top of the urn with a winged griffin handle flanked by two figures of males, each holding a swagged drape being held by a bull's horns; all raised on a square alabaster plinth. A Fine and Large Continental 19th/20th Century Renaissance Revival Carved Walnut Judica Figure of "Moses with the Ten Commandments". The baroque wood carving depicting a standing Moses on Mount Sinai holding the twin Ten Commandments tables with the writing in Hebrew, after Michelangelo (Michelangelo) Buonarroti (Italian, 1513–1515) version of Moses housed in the church of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, raised on a square ebonized wooden plinth, probably carved in Spain, but true origin or artist is unknown. A Finely Carved Natural Aber Specimen Group of Nesting Snakes, featuring a large, very clear amber specimen from Chiapas, Mexico, a carving representing two snakes intertwined around a tree trunk rests within a section of natural moose antler which cleverly represents the base of the tree. A mother-of-pearl carved egg form tops the display. On a jet base with an amber piece giving the impression of an imbedded sphere. Offered with a custom-fitted Balinese fabric covered box. The finely carve two-tone alabaster bust, depicting a young girl posing with a side gaze and wavy hair tied with a headscarf, her blouse is depicted in an emerald-green-colored alabaster, decorated with a twin-floral bouquet.
